A one-of-a-kind turquoise pendant is bezel-set in luminous golden Alchemia and suspended from a fluid herringbone chain. Long carried as a stone of protection and tranquility, turquoise is believed to quiet the mind and strengthen intuition.
Sleeping Beauty turquoise is treasured for its luminous, clear-blue coloring and beautifully minimal veining. Mined near Globe, Arizona, the stone takes its name from the surrounding mountain formation, said to resemble a woman sleeping beneath the desert sky. Since the mine ceased turquoise production in 2012, these stones have become increasingly rare.
