How soon will my items ship?
Orders typically ship within 24 hours of purchase. Orders placed before 12 PM qualify for same-day shipping. Orders placed after 11 AM on Friday are not guaranteed to ship until the following Monday. FedEx Overnight: FedEx Standard Overnight orders must be placed before 2 PM for next-day delivery. FedEx does not deliver Standard Overnight on weekends. Orders placed after 2 PM Thursday will arrive Monday or Tuesday. Promotional Sale Shipping: During major sales (including Black Friday and Cyber Monday), slight delays may occur for orders selecting Free USPS First-Class Shipping. Please allow 1–3 business days for processing. FedEx orders will ship in their selected timeframe.
Lost Packages. What if my package is marked as "delivered" but I do not have it?
Child of Wild is not liable for lost or stolen packages. If tracking shows your package as “delivered” to the address provided, neither the carrier nor Child of Wild can be held responsible. All packages are scanned throughout the shipping process, and your package is scanned upon delivery. We recommend signing up for text or email notifications through the carrier’s tracking page or downloading the “SHOP” tracking app. Often, packages are accidentally left with a neighbor or held by the local post office. Please check with neighbors and your local post office, and allow 48 hours for potential redelivery. If your package is missing, please file a lost claim on the carrier’s website immediately, then contact our customer service team. We’ll review your options and work with you to resolve the situation. For extra peace of mind, customers can opt into package protection at checkout. This covers lost, stolen, or damaged packages and helps ensure a smooth replacement process. Any claims can be filed through our returns + claims portal and work best when filed promptly. If you’ve experienced package theft in the past, please reach out to add a complimentary Signature Requirement to your order.
Wrong address
Please notify us immediately if the wrong address was entered at checkout so it can be updated before shipping. Customers can change their address themselves within two hours of placing an order. Once an order has shipped, Child of Wild is not responsible for lost or misdelivered packages. If a mistake was made, the recipient must contact the carrier directly (USPS or FedEx) to request an address change, as we cannot make this change on your behalf. Orders lost due to an incorrect address cannot be re-shipped, replaced, or refunded. All returned "Invalid Address" packages are subject to a $5 restocking fee.
International Shipping
Free shipping via FedEx International is available to Australia, Canada, and the UK on orders over $300. All international orders are subject to duties and customs taxes (DDU) upon delivery. These fees are the responsibility of the customer. It’s important to be aware of your country’s customs policies before placing an order. If your package is delayed, follow the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation email. Packages may be held at your local customs office. Child of Wild is not responsible for delays or lack of communication from customs. If a package is returned due to refusal to pay duties or a failure to respond to customs, we are not liable for the return shipment and the cost will be deducted from any refund or store credit, including a restocking fee equal to the return shipping cost. What is included in each shipment?
We hand package every shipment with love and care. We aim to use as much sustainable packaging as possible. We have high quality thick paper jewelry boxes with a foam insert for jewelry. *Please pull jewelry gently when removing from packaging. We typically package every order in a sustainable, organic, biodegradable cotton bag. The ink used in printing is also biodegradable. Our packing envelops are either compostable or paper. We do not include invoices in any of our shipments. They are all electronically emailed. * if your purchase is a gift and you would like a little extra love or a hand written note please email sales@childofwild.com immediately after your purchase. We often layer necklaces together in one box. Please email us if you prefer individual boxes per each product.

Return Policy
Every piece is prepared and packed with care before making its way to you. If it doesn’t feel fully aligned once it arrives, eligible items may be returned for a refund, exchange, or store credit within 21 days of delivery, subject to the guidelines below.below. You can initiate your return anytime through the RETURNS tab in the footer of our website. Full-Priced Jewelry: Eligible within 21 days of delivery for refund, exchange, or store credit. Objects: Final sale. Sale Section: Final sale. Please Note ALL promotional sale items discounted over 20% are eligible for store credit or exchange only. To be accepted, items must be: - Unworn and in original condition - Free of damage, alteration, or any visible wear - Returned in original packaging Items that do not meet these standards may be declined.
International Returns
International returns are the responsibility of the customer, including one-time repairs and replacements under the 90-day warranty. Child of Wild is not liable for lost international returns. Our system cannot generate international return labels, so we recommend using a shipping courier with tracking to ensure your return reaches us safely. Duties and taxes paid are non-refundable.
Optional Package Protection + Free Returns
At checkout, customers may choose to add optional package protection with complimentary return shipping. When this option is selected: ✦ Eligible returns receive a prepaid return label at no cost ✦ Orders are protected in the event of loss, theft, or damage in transit ✦ Returns and exchanges may be initiated through the returns portal for a seamless experience If package protection is declined, standard return terms apply. For orders placed without package protection: ✦ Store Credit or Exchange: complimentary return label provided ✦ Refund to original payment: Return Label is at the expense of the customer Original shipping fees are non-refundable
When will my Return or Exchange be processed?
✦ Return for Refund or Store Credit Once your return is received, please allow 3–5 business days for refunds to be processed. Store credit is issued within 1 business day of receipt. You’ll receive an email notification as soon as your return has been received, processed, and completed. ✦ Return for Exchange Once your return shipment is scanned by the carrier, our system automatically begins processing your exchange. Most exchanges are fulfilled within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays).
Purchasing from a "Promotional Sale" or the "Sale section"
Promotional Sale Return Policy: Items purchased during a promotional sale of 20% or more can be returned for store credit only, within 21 days of purchase. No exceptions. Discounts from promotional sales cannot be applied to past orders or to orders placed after the promotion ends. Short-term events like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or similar sales are considered promotional sales. If a discount code of 20% or more is used at checkout, the order counts as a promotional sale. Items from the Sale Section cannot be combined with discounts or promotions and are final sale.
*CW 90 Day Warranty
Something broke, snapped, or bent? CW-made jewelry is eligible for a one-time free repair or replacement within 90 days of purchase. After 90 days, a $25 repair fee applies. If the item is from a designer we carry, we’ll connect you directly with the brand to work out a solution. Please describe the issue in detail and upload photos through the Returns & Claims portal; this helps us get your repair or replacement started as quickly as possible.
What if my item arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please go to the Returns & Claims portal within 5 days of delivery to upload a photo and start the process. This helps us resolve the issue quickly and get your repair, replacement, or refund started.
What if my jewelry breaks while I am wearing it?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your order and will work hard to remedy the situation to the best of our abilities. ✦ VINTAGE JEWELRY: is fragile by nature and should be worn with care. Child of Wild is not liable for broken vintage jewelry. ✦ CW Collection: We offer one-time free repair or replacement within 90 days from your purchase for our CW collection jewelry. After 90 days, there is a $25 fee for repairs if the item can be fixed. ✦ OFF-BRAND JEWELRY: Damaged jewelry that is made any of the artists and brands we carry is not guaranteed a replacement. We will work diligently to get you a replacement from the artist. We also recommend reaching out to the brand via their website. ✦ INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Please email our customer service team to go over options. Thou Shalt Buff with Love: Polish with a 100% cotton cloth or a special jewelry cleaning cloth. ✦ 4. Thou shalt put an X on the O: always keep your gems in a closed box or baggy to prevent oxidation and tarnishing. ✦ 5. Thou shalt be easy, baby: vintage and hand-made gems are fragile. please wear with care. ✦ 6. Thou shalt keep it wild.
Jewelry Storage
To help prevent your gold-filled, gold-plated, and silver jewelry from oxidizing, we recommend storing pieces in a sealed glass or plastic jewelry box in a cool, dry place; or in one of our Anti-Tarnish Bags. We suggest avoiding long-term storage in our black CW jewelry boxes, as they can trap moisture and speed up oxidation.
About metals
Everyone’s skin chemistry is different, and sensitivities to metals can vary from person to person. We clearly list the metal type and plating details on every product page so you can shop with confidence. If you know you’re sensitive to certain metals, we recommend avoiding plated pieces. It’s important to be aware of any personal allergies to base metals or brass before purchasing. Not all jewelry is designed for everyday wear. Over time, normal wear, especially with plated pieces, can lead to tarnishing. Plated jewelry is best reserved for occasional wear. We also recommend removing your jewelry before showering, working out, washing your hands, sleeping, or other daily activities. If you’re looking for pieces to wear every day, we suggest solid sterling silver, solid gold, gold filled, or vermeil. Please note we are not liable for tarnishing that occurs on plated jewelry after extended wear.
