Our 18K gold overlay pieces are crafted using a high-quality, multi-layered gold bonding process over a recycled jeweler’s brass core, creating jewelry that combines the look of solid gold with exceptional durability. The process begins with a copper primer to smooth the base metal and enhance the shine. A thick layer of 18K gold is then bonded to the piece, providing a rich, warm finish that is both long-lasting and resistant to tarnish. This high-quality overlay results in a gold layer that is 5% or more of the total weight, making it comparable in longevity and feel to gold-filled jewelry. Our 18K gold overlay is 100% recyclable and ethically sourced, and every piece is free of lead, nickel, and cadmium, ensuring safe, wearable luxury. This demi-fine process produces jewelry that is designed to last for years with proper care. Care & Wear: To maintain the luster and longevity of your 18K gold overlay jewelry, avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, hard water, ocean salt, chlorine, and heavy perspiration.
