The Astarte Pendant takes its name from the Ancient Near Eastern Goddess of Love and Fertility. Her symbols are many, including the lion, horse, dove, and pentagram, but in her most famous depiction, she wears a crescent moon upon her head and reaches forward, palm upwards in the offering. Her statue, which is held in the Louvre is molded from smooth white stone, and shows her with a serene expression, wearing gold earrings, and a regal gold necklace.

This golden pendant in the form of a hexagon is adorned with classic Cleopatra’s Bling gold spheres, and etched on both sides.

Handcrafted and individually cast. Each piece is unique, which we believe gives it its beauty. Nickel and lead-free. Cleopatra's Bling works with a small studio in Bali that is part of the RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council). They use recycled and refined materials wherever possible, and have no lead or nickel in any of the alloy metals.

About this Metal

We only carry thicker micron plated jewelry. This plating quality is very different than thin "Decorative Gold Plating" that is commonly used on cheaper jewelry. A .99% pure, high karat gold is electronically magnetized and bonded to a base metal. We only carry electro-plated jewelry which it allows for larger chains + pendants with more surface area to be high quality but more economical than Gold-Filled. Suggested Wear: to prolong the quality of your plated jewelry be careful of hard water exposure, chemicals in shampoos, ocean salt water, chlorine in pools, heavy metals from sweat. Plated jewelry should be for occasional wear only.
